Lateral & Mainline Assessment Certification Program
LACP™ & MACP™
PACP provides standardization and consistency to the methods in which pipeline conditions are identified, evaluated, and managed. PACP is a pre-requisite for the LACP & MACP. This is a 3-day program that helps pipeline system owners create databases to properly identify, plan, prioritize, manage & remove their assets based on condition evaluation.
The goal of the LACP is to provide the student, who is familiar with PACP as a certified user, with a complete understanding of how the PACP codes have been adapted to provide critical data on the conditions found in laterals. The course presents many opportunities for the student to ask questions about the new codes specifically required for the proper use of the LACP.
The goal of the MACP is to provide the student with a thorough understanding of the procedures required to perform an appropriate inspection of manholes and other access points.
Who Should Take PACP, LACP, & MACP?
CCTV operators, municipalities, engineers, contractors, consultants, manufacturers & more. This program would allow those individuals to speak the same language regarding pipe defects, coding procedures, documentation & plans for rehab or replacement of sewers.
Standardization in PACP, LACP, & MACP not only makes it more practical to compare the sections of multiple segments within a pipe network but also allows the industry to benchmark these conditions to allow a better understanding of deterioration mechanisms affecting underground infrastructure.
